How to made ladybug appliue


you Will need 2 fabric colors of your choice 1/8 yard each


a half yard light heat bond (NO SEW heavy heat and bond)

1 black fabric paint.


8x10 paper scissors and a iron


set iron on high (no steam)


cut 1 3x6 egg shape that will be the under side of the ladybug


cut 1 4x5 hart shape ( made it bottom of the hart rounded off) these are the wings


trace each cutout on to the back of the heat n bond ( not the glue side)-this should be 2 piece of heat n bond (do not cut out)


lay each heat n bond piece on the back side of each piece of fabric -so that your drawing faces you.

and the print side of the fabric faces the ironing board.


press hard on the head N bond that is on top of your fabric (do not iron just hold down for 20sec)


cool cot out pattern and peel off fabric from heat N bond -the back of your fabric should shine


lay the egg shape on top of your project-lay the hart rounded bottom at the top of the egg

(check photo) now again hold down hot iron in place for 20sec

(sew) around ladybug with a zigzag stitch and draw on antennas.

let paint dry for 24 hours .
